What are cookies?
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how this website uses them, the types of cookies it uses and how to manage your cookie settings.
Cookies are small text files that store small pieces of information. They are placed on your device when a website loads in your browser. They help a website work properly, keep it secure, remember your choices and, if you allow it, measure how the website is used.
How we use cookies
Like most websites, this one uses first-party and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are mostly needed for the website to work and do not collect information that identifies you. The third-party cookies come from the services that work for us, and most of them are only set once you agree to them in the cookie banner.
The website runs no advertising and sets no advertising cookies.
The cookies this website uses
In plain words, they fall into three groups.
- Necessary: the cookie in which CookieYes remembers the choice you make in the banner; the cookies WordPress and our forms use to keep a page working while you fill it in; and the cookies GoCardless’s payment form uses on the Secure Your Slot page, which are part of taking your payment.
- Functional: Calendly’s booking calendar, once you allow it, sets its own cookies so that it can show you available times.
- Analytics: Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, once you allow it, sets cookies that let us see how the website is used.
The table below is kept up to date by our consent tool from its scan of our public pages, and gives each cookie it finds by name, purpose, provider and how long it lasts. A few cookies only appear once you are signed in, or on the enrolment and booking steps, so the three groups described above are the fuller picture.
Manage your cookie preferences
You can change your cookie settings at any time by pressing the Consent Preferences button above. It reopens the cookie banner so that you can update your choices or withdraw your consent.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. These pages explain how in the main browsers.
- Chrome: support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050
- Safari: support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/safari/sfri11471/mac
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
- Edge: support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies-in-microsoft-edge
If you use another browser, its own support pages will explain the same steps.
