Advanced Speaking Club in Bishop's Stortford
Small groups, learning to speak from the first lesson and having fun, real conversations in Spanish. Taught face to face by native, fully qualified and experienced teachers.

- You Want Fluidity Over Formality: You don’t need heavy grammar drills, you want a friendly, dynamic space to discuss current news topics, personal interests, and real-world issues in a relaxed environment.
- You Enjoy Culture & Media: You love discussing books, analysing films, and sharing recommendations during face-to-face language sessions with like-minded peers.
- You Need to Build Natural Confidence: You know enough Spanish to get by, but you want to eliminate hesitation, speak spontaneously, and sound more natural when interacting.

Our interactive 60-minute group language lessons are designed to get you speaking a new language from day one. Every session consists of:

Warm-Up & Review
A quick recap of past material to plug any learning gaps and warm up your conversational speaking skills.

Core Skill-Building
Depending on the day, we’ll build real-world vocabulary, role-play practical scenarios, or master core grammar structures so you can form sentences naturally without relying on memorisation.

Interactive Practice
A targeted group speaking activity or fun language game to give you the extra motivation to use everything you’ve learned.
Forget passive listening or endless worksheet fill-ins. You’ll spend the vast majority of your time actively talking and having fun making mistakes alongside your peers. With our small group language classes, you get plenty of individual speaking time, expert feedback, and a dynamic environment where the hour flies by.
Missing a lesson: what you need to know
Live attendance is key to your progress. Because our classes are built around real-time conversation and peer interaction, attending your scheduled live lessons is the best way to see results.
We understand that life occasionally happens. If an unavoidable emergency or conflict arises:

Occasional Video Catch-Up
For rare missed classes, you will be granted temporary access to a recorded lesson so you can review the missed material on your own time and stay on track for your next live session.

Not sure it is your level?
The club assumes you already have the tenses and the sentence structures, and want the fluency. If that is not you yet, the Intermediate B1 course is the step before it.

How do I know which level I am?
If you are not sure, book a call and we will take a level test with you. There is nothing to revise for.
How long is a lesson?
An hour, and you spend most of it speaking rather than listening.
What if I miss a lesson?
Live attendance is what makes the format work. For a rare missed class you will be given temporary access to a recorded lesson, so you can review the material and stay on track for your next live session.
Is there parking?
Yes. Every student has an allocated on-site space.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on this site includes VAT, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.
Do I have to commit for the whole course?
The Speaking Club runs on a three-month commitment.
