This is the right level for you if:

If unsure, book a call to take a level test with us (opens in a new tab).

  • You have zero prior experience with Spanish, or you know basic greetings, or core vocabulary, and you want a structured foundation starting from square one.
  • You know standalone words or common expressions (like hola, por favor, or cuánto cuesta), but you stumble when trying to connect them into complete, grammatically correct thoughts.
  • You can recognise or understand basic words when listening or reading, but you freeze up when asked to speak or write original sentences.
  • You studied Spanish years ago in school and forgot most of it, or you took a long break and need to rebuild your foundations and speaking confidence before moving to intermediate concepts.

What students will achieve in the Beginner A1 course

  • Express basic daily needs, ask questions, and describe routine activities using proper present-tense sentence structures, using filler words to sound native.
  • Transition from memorising individual vocabulary words to producing and understanding fluid conversations, naturally.

What a lesson actually looks like

Our interactive 60-minute group language lessons are designed to get you speaking a new language from day one. Every session consists of:

  • Warm-Up & Review

A quick recap of past material to plug any learning gaps and warm up your conversational speaking skills.

  • Core Skill-Building

Depending on the day, we’ll build real-world vocabulary, role-play practical scenarios, or master core grammar structures so you can form sentences naturally without relying on memorisation.

  • Interactive Practice

A targeted group speaking activity or fun language game to give you the extra motivation to use everything you’ve learned.

Forget passive listening or endless worksheet fill-ins. You’ll spend the vast majority of your time actively talking and having fun making mistakes alongside your peers. With our small group language classes, you get plenty of individual speaking time, expert feedback, and a dynamic environment where the hour flies by.

Missing a lesson: what you need to know

Live attendance is key to your progress. Because our classes are built around real-time conversation and peer interaction, attending your scheduled live lessons is the best way to see results.

We understand that life occasionally happens. If an unavoidable emergency or conflict arises:

  • Occasional Video Catch-Up

For rare missed classes, you will be granted temporary access to a recorded lesson so you can review the missed material on your own time and stay on track for your next live session.

Questions students ask us

How do I know which level I am?

If you are not sure, book a call and we will take a level test with you. There is nothing to revise for.

How long is a lesson?

An hour, and you spend most of it speaking rather than listening.

What if I miss a lesson?

Live attendance is what makes the format work. For a rare missed class you will be given temporary access to a recorded lesson, so you can review the material and stay on track for your next live session.

Is there parking?

Yes. Every student has an allocated on-site space.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes. Every price on this site includes VAT, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.

Do I have to commit for the whole course?

The Standard Track runs on an eleven-month commitment and the Fast-Track on six.

Still not sure? Get in touch and we will talk it through.

In their own words, on Google

I retired in October 2025 and have wanted to learn Spanish for some time. The pace of the class is very manageable and I look forward to my lessons every week. In the three months I have been taking lessons, I have been amazed at the progress I have made.

Sara W.

Natalia is warm, kind and encouraging, creating a welcoming environment for learning Spanish. She uses a variety of learning methods and activities which keeps the lessons interesting and fun.

Jodie

The lessons are fun, relaxed and engaging, and the teaching makes it much easier to actually remember and use what you learn. I particularly like that the focus is on practical Spanish that you can use in real-life situations.
