The questions we get most
Getting started
Do I need any Spanish to start?
No. Our groups run at Beginner A1, Elementary A2 and Intermediate B1, with an Advanced Speaking Club for B2 to C2, so you join at the right level for you.
How do I know which level I am?
If you are not sure, book a call and we will take a level test with you. There is nothing to revise for.
How small are the groups?
Small by design. Groups are kept small, maximum 6, so everyone gets real speaking practice, which is why spaces fill fast.
In the lessons
What do the lessons look like?
The one hour session starts with a revision of previous content, then the core of the lesson, which may be a listening activity, vocabulary focus or pronunciation, and to finish, always a speaking practice or game to put to use what we have learned.
What if I miss a lesson?
Live attendance is what makes the format work. For a rare missed class you will be given temporary access to a recorded lesson, so you can review the material and stay on track for your next live session.
Do I need a book?
Yes, it is included in the registration fee. We recommend a notebook for your notes as well.
How long does it take to be conversational?
On average five to six months, though it depends on how many lessons you take and how consistently you practise at home.
Paying
What does the £49 registration fee cover?
It secures your place, and covers your course book, materials and a tester lesson. It is one-off and non-refundable. It applies to in-person courses only. Online lessons have no registration fee.
Do I have to commit for the whole course?
The Standard Track runs on an eleven-month commitment, the Fast-Track on six, and the Advanced Speaking Club on three. Exam preparation has a three-month minimum, then carries on month by month up to your exam date. Online lessons have no monthly commitment, only a minimum of four lessons.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on this site includes VAT, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.
Coming in
Is there parking?
Yes. Every student has an allocated on-site space.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 20:30, and Saturday, 10:30 to 13:30. We are closed on Sundays.

In their own words, on Google
I retired in October 2025 and have wanted to learn Spanish for some time. The pace of the class is very manageable and I look forward to my lessons every week. In the three months I have been taking lessons, I have been amazed at the progress I have made.
Sara W.
Natalia is warm, kind and encouraging, creating a welcoming environment for learning Spanish. She uses a variety of learning methods and activities which keeps the lessons interesting and fun.
Jodie
The lessons are fun, relaxed and engaging, and the teaching makes it much easier to actually remember and use what you learn. I particularly like that the focus is on practical Spanish that you can use in real-life situations.
