Elementary A2 Spanish courses in Bishop's Stortford
Small groups, learning to speak from the first lesson and having fun, real conversations in Spanish. Taught face to face by native, fully qualified and experienced teachers.

- You Have the Basics Down: You can introduce yourself, handle simple everyday interactions, and form basic sentences, but you want to take your Spanish to the next level.
- You’re Stuck in the Present Tense: You can talk about your current routine, but you struggle when switching between talking about past experiences or future plans.
- You Rely on Simple Sentence Structures: You can string a few words together, but you hesitate when trying to connect complex ideas or keep a real-life conversation going.
- You Can Follow Slow Conversations: You get the main idea when people speak clearly and slowly, but faster native speech interactions, varied vocabulary, or regional accents still throw you off.
What students will achieve in the Elementary A2 course
- Express past events, future plans, and personal opinions with confidence using expanded verb tenses and natural transitions.
- Navigate everyday real-world scenarios, from travel and shopping to describing feelings and stories, without freezing up.
- Transition from basic, step-by-step sentence building to holding fluid, multi-topic conversations with greater speaking speed and natural rhythm.

Warm-Up & Review
A quick recap of past material to plug any learning gaps and warm up your conversational speaking skills.

Core Skill-Building
Depending on the day, we’ll build real-world vocabulary, role-play practical scenarios, or master core grammar structures so you can form sentences naturally without relying on memorisation.

Interactive Practice
A targeted group speaking activity or fun language game to give you the extra motivation to use everything you’ve learned.
Forget passive listening or endless worksheet fill-ins. You’ll spend the vast majority of your time actively talking and having fun making mistakes alongside your peers. With our small group language classes, you get plenty of individual speaking time, expert feedback, and a dynamic environment where the hour flies by.
Missing a lesson: what you need to know
Live attendance is key to your progress. Because our classes are built around real-time conversation and peer interaction, attending your scheduled live lessons is the best way to see results.
We understand that life occasionally happens. If an unavoidable emergency or conflict arises:

Occasional Video Catch-Up
For rare missed classes, you will be granted temporary access to a recorded lesson so you can review the missed material on your own time and stay on track for your next live session.

How do I know which level I am?
If you are not sure, book a call and we will take a level test with you. There is nothing to revise for.
How long is a lesson?
An hour, and you spend most of it speaking rather than listening.
What if I miss a lesson?
Live attendance is what makes the format work. For a rare missed class you will be given temporary access to a recorded lesson, so you can review the material and stay on track for your next live session.
Is there parking?
Yes. Every student has an allocated on-site space.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on this site includes VAT, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.
Do I have to commit for the whole course?
The Standard Track runs on an eleven-month commitment and the Fast-Track on six.
