This is the right level for you if:

  • You know your tenses, but hesitate to use them sometimes: You can form past and future sentences, but you hesitate when trying to introduce the subjunctive or select the right structures during real-time in-person Spanish conversation practice.
  • You Want to Sound More Natural: You tend to translate directly from English, and you want to master authentic Spanish collocations and native word combinations to express yourself naturally.
  • You Want to Refine Your Pronunciation: You understand Spanish, but you want focused feedback on phonetics and accent coaching to smooth out your rhythm, intonation, and native-like flow.
  • You Want Targeted Grammar Polish: you want active speaking practice paired with specific, targeted grammar refinements to fix recurring errors and elevate your speech.

What students will achieve in the Intermediate B1 course

  • Master the subjunctive mood and natural Spanish collocations to express complex opinions, wishes, and hypothetical scenarios with native-like phrasing.
  • Elevate your conversational speed and accent through targeted phonetics guidance and focused grammar refinements, allowing you to speak fluidly without hesitation.

What a lesson actually looks like

Our interactive 60-minute group language lessons are designed to get you speaking a new language from day one. Every session consists of:

  • Warm-Up & Review

A quick recap of past material to plug any learning gaps and warm up your conversational speaking skills.

  • Core Skill-Building

Depending on the day, we’ll build real-world vocabulary, role-play practical scenarios, or master core grammar structures so you can form sentences naturally without relying on memorisation.

  • Interactive Practice

A targeted group speaking activity or fun language game to give you the extra motivation to use everything you’ve learned.

Questions students ask us

How do I know which level I am?

If you are not sure, book a call and we will take a level test with you. There is nothing to revise for.

How long is a lesson?

An hour, and you spend most of it speaking rather than listening.

What if I miss a lesson?

Live attendance is what makes the format work. For a rare missed class you will be given temporary access to a recorded lesson, so you can review the material and stay on track for your next live session.

Is there parking?

Yes. Every student has an allocated on-site space.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes. Every price on this site includes VAT, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.

Do I have to commit for the whole course?

The Standard Track runs on an eleven-month commitment and the Fast-Track on six.

Still not sure? Get in touch and we will talk it through.

In their own words, on Google

I retired in October 2025 and have wanted to learn Spanish for some time. The pace of the class is very manageable and I look forward to my lessons every week. In the three months I have been taking lessons, I have been amazed at the progress I have made.

Sara W.

Natalia is warm, kind and encouraging, creating a welcoming environment for learning Spanish. She uses a variety of learning methods and activities which keeps the lessons interesting and fun.

Jodie

The lessons are fun, relaxed and engaging, and the teaching makes it much easier to actually remember and use what you learn. I particularly like that the focus is on practical Spanish that you can use in real-life situations.

Ready to sound like yourself in Spanish?

The subjunctive, the collocations and the accent work that close the last gap.
